LYMPHATIC SYSTEM EDUCATION FOR CONSUMERS OR PROFESSIONALS

This program is designed for anyone who is interested in lymphatic drainage. It is an ideal learning tool for manual therapy professionals who want to learn or refresh their knowledge of the lymph system and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) techniques.

The video includes safety guidelines, and key Vodder strokes, and shows how to apply the strokes to the whole body.

DESIGNED FOR SAFETY AND LEARNING

A full-screen review of when to use lymphatic drainage, when not to use lymphatic drainage, and cautions for MLD start the training.

Cues are emphasized in audio and on the screen, so remember the important points of the application. Progressive treatment is encouraged, to help plan sessions that are long after the first application.

MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE STROKES

Fast Ship

The technique portion of this DVD begins with a review of each stroke, including circular compressions, pumping techniques, and drainage strokes.

We review why we use each one and what effect each has on the lymphatics.

APPLY LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE TO THE WHOLE BODY

Since lymphatics are a suction-based system, the video teaches how to work progressively, where to start, and how to drain the whole body.

The routine begins with a "core sequence" for starting a lymphatic drainage session, at the chest and abdomen.

Next are methods for stimulating lymph nodes in the lymphatic hubs, such as the axillary and inguinal areas.

Then it reviews how to treat the neck, head, arms, chest, abdomen, legs, feet, hips and gluteals, and back.

SWELLING OR LYMPHATIC POOLING AND BREAST DRAINAGE

Also included are techniques for swelling, guidelines, and application for breast drainage, and a review of all the techniques.
